Duangrit Bunnag is an internationally recognised Thai architect and the founder of Duangrit Bunnag Architect Limited, or DBALP. Known for projects including The Jam Factory, Warehouse 30 and The Naka Phuket, he brings to FLIPS deep expertise in architecture, hospitality, urban regeneration and placemaking.
Duangrit Bunnag is one of Thailand’s most influential architects and urban visionaries, known for creating architecture that integrates design, hospitality, culture and community.
He graduated in Architecture from Chulalongkorn University in 1989 and later received a Graduate Diploma in Design from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. He founded Duangrit Bunnag Architect Limited, or DBALP, in 1998.
His work spans architecture, interior design, landscape design, hospitality and urban regeneration. Notable projects associated with Duangrit and DBALP include The Jam Factory, Warehouse 30, The Naka Phuket and a range of hotels, resorts, residential developments and creative destinations in Thailand and internationally.
Beyond individual buildings, Duangrit is recognised for transforming underutilised urban spaces into culturally relevant destinations and for advancing the role of architecture in placemaking, community formation and the creative economy.
